Intentional Play Summit — Oct 7 in Mountain View

We are excited about an upcoming event on October 7th at the Computer History Museum in Mt. View.

From the summit organizer, Jen Helms:

The Intentional Play Summit is a new event in Mountain View, CA this October 7th at the Computer History Museum. The event explores how we can make more meaningful games and better use that gameplay to teach, motivate, and build empathy. We have keynotes from James Paul Gee and Noah Falstein, Chief Game Designer at Google. Other awesome speakers include Jamin Warren, Robin Hunicke, Margaret Wallace, and Nicole Lazzaro. The day will feature breakout sessions, inspirational short talks, round table discussions over lunch, an arcade, and a closing happy hour. The full lineup can be found on our website http://intentionalplaysummit.com

The GDT Research Group will be there, so come by and say “hi”!
