Analog Game Studies: Volume I is now available

Analog Game Studies is a bi-monthly journal for the research and critique of analog games. The journal is on its third volume currently, and their collected Volume I is now available for purchase from Lulu or free pdf download.

The games research being done is academia is heavily weighed towards digital experiences. So it’s a delight to see editors like Evan Torner and contributing authors including Jason Morningstar and Lizzie Stark pushing forward the study of analog games in a thoughtful way. Well worth reading if you want to learn from the cutting edge of tabletop academics.
